This summer, Tom Waites will present As You Like It, a happy comedy for summer fun and great music, and one of Shakespeare’s most admired plays.  As You Like It opens July 12 and runs through August 4, 2013 at Baruch Performing Arts Center’s Bernie West Theater at 17 Lexington Ave at 23^rd Street.  Tickets are $20 but anyone is welcome to use the code FRIEND for $17.50 tickets! 

Tom Waites recently was noted national critical acclaim for his short film Pandora’s Box, winning Best Director and Best Screenplay for a Short Film in the Atlantic City Film Festival.  The internationally acclaimed actress Francis Fisher (The Titanic, The Lincoln Lawyer, House of Sand and Fog) won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film, and Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds) was nominated for Best Actor.   

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a manifestation of director Tom Waites contemporary vision , featuring some of the best work by his regular ensemble of actors.  Baruch Performing Arts Center is proud to present this work and many past and future works by Tom Waites, a Juilliard-trained theater professional.  Don’t miss it!
