In the "J-Town Jazz Club," a group of Japanese Americans return to Little Tokyo after three years in camp to find that the place they called home has become an African American enclave known as "Bronzeville." Featuring famous blues tunes from the era, this musical drama shares a little-known history of Los Angeles when Little Tokyo was alive with new people, new businesses, new churches--and jazz legends like Charlie Parker--brought the blues to J-Town.

Starting the night off with the "Dan Taguchi Big Band" who will set the tone with some favorite songs of the 1940's.
