The Pollock/Krasner House Film Screening - Peggy Guggenheim: Art Addict
Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 5:00PM

Guild Hall
158 Main Street
East Hampton, NY 11937

"Peggy Guggenheim: Art Addict" Please join us for a preview screening of Lisa Immordino Vreeland’s new film, and a conversation with the director. As she moved through the cultural upheaval of the 20th century, Peggy Guggenheim collected not only art but also artists. Her colorful circle included Max Ernst, Jackson Pollock, Alexander Calder, Marcel Duchamp, as well as countless others. While fighting through personal tragedy, she maintained her vision to build one of the most important collections of modern art, now enshrined in her Venetian palazzo. The film is a compendium of the greatest 20th century art and the wild, iconoclastic life of one of the art world’s most powerful women.
