From Ancient Greece to the 21st century here is an explanation of how art works with science. How art evolved to imitate appearance; how Vision works and how we thought it worked; how optics were used to make paintings and then photographs; how geometry became perspective; how artist colors tried to imitate vision; how the science of color altered art history; How new discoveries in psychology, neurobiology, and physical intelligence are changing the directions and purposes of art. How adaptation of new technology continues to inspire artists.
