United States Artists and the Farnsworth House came together to create a public program called "Architecture and Art: Inspiration Amplified," generously sponsored by an award from the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts. The program will include commissions by 2011 USA Friends Fellow in Music, Mary Ellen Childs, and 2011 USA Guthman Fellow in Visual Arts, Inigo Manglano-Ovalle, both will present new works inspired by the Mies van der Rohe designed Farnsworth House.
