Columbia BLSA is proud to present the 22nd Annual Paul Robeson Gala. The annual event celebrates the life of Paul Robeson '23. Robeson is one of the Law School’s most notable and respected alumni who dedicated his life to excellence in scholarship, civil rights, athletics, and the performing arts. This year's Gala will take place at the Columbia Club of New York on Thursday, February 25, 2016 beginning at 6pm. Attire for the Gala is business cocktail. The theme for the Gala this year is The Troubled Relations: Rebuilding Our Communities. It is our pleasure to announce that our Keynote Speaker will be Janice Tudy-Jackson '92, Collaboration & Conflict Management Consultant, and Lecturer-in-Law at Columbia Law School. We are also pleased to announce that Theodore Shaw '79 will be our alumni honoree. Professor Shaw is the Julius L. Chambers Distinguished Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Civil Rights at the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill.
