Celebrate with Us!

Begin your Saturday evening by celebrating with the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Saturday, March 19. Join your friends in congratulating SFCMP founders, Jean-Louis LeRoux, Marcella DeCray, and Charles Boone. It is they who created the Bay Area's leading contemporary classical music ensemble, which for 45 years has been performing world-class contemporary classical music by the leading national and international composers of our time.

The opening party begins with cocktails, wine and beer, small plates, a drawing, and a display of memorabilia gathered from the founding years, and is followed by an intimate concert of solo works by George Crumb, John Cage and Lou Harrison performed by Artistic Director Steven Schick and ensemble members Kate Campbell and Karen Gottlieb.

Join your friends, meet new friends, mingle with our Founders and the Players and enjoy a relaxed early-evening celebration. Participate in a drawing of your choice including 2016-17 season subscriptions; original artwork by Hung Liu (valued at $1,800); and CDs by Players in the ensemble.
