A play for one woman and a reptile.
An American archaeologist is summoned to a dig in Jaffa. The Israelis have found something that could change everything. She's the only one who can tell them what it is. And her mother just died. And there's a lizard n her bathtub. Master storyteller Stacie Chaiken (Looking for Louie) shrewdly weaves layers of ancient and modern fable in this provocative and inspiring underground journey. The DIG invites audiences into a world they think they know, and then peels it open to reveal unexpected possibilities.
