Soul Steps presents Voice to Body, a 60-minute, interactive, non-stop dance explosion of powerful stomps, accented claps, and thunderous syncopated beats. Using the body as a percussive instrument, Soul Steps embraces the African-American tradition known as “stepping” to examine the raw feelings that rhythm evokes in all of us. Steppers show off complex bodywork, and engage the audience in a hip-hop infused, rhythmic jam session that drives them to their feet.
