Created by Hollie Harper, AMERICAN CANDY is a hilariously clever sketch comedy show born and bred in Brooklyn. The show’s creative team is a talented bunch that creates raucous sketch and musical comedy for grown ups. Their largest demographic is Black Women. Their shows are always sold out AMERICAN CANDY premiered in June 2009 at the famed Gotham Comedy Club in New York and each time, AMERICAN CANDY launches a new show for their devoted and enthusiastic fan base. AMERICAN CANDY has twice played BAM Cafe. They are the only musical comedy show at BAM in the last 6 years. This past fall Manhattan Center joined forces with AMERICAN CANDY and co-produced a trio of pilot episodes that presently being shopped to major networks.
