The Red Room
A new play by Morgan McGuire
Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 8:00PM

The TBG Theatre

3rd Floor
New York, NY 10018

The Hodges have gathered at a family house in the northern reaches of California. As the sentencing of their son and brother’s murderer nears, questions of justice and forgiveness arise and the family seeks to sift through what has been lost.

THE RED ROOM by Morgan McGuire explores the intersection between survivors and the reality of the American judicial system. How do we move forward after violent loss? What is justice and can what was lost be restored? Is there a role for forgiveness? McGuire pulls at the threads of these questions, showing the tension borne by each, and how each has the power to unravel the very fabric of family.
