Directed by Amelia Sciandra

Governor Leonato welcomes Prince Don Pedro to his house for a fest of merriment. Don Pedro's men accompany him, Benedick and Claudio. Soon Claudio has fallen for Leonato's beautiful daughter, Hero, and plans to wed her within the week. While Hero and Claudio's love blossoms Sir Benedick goes tit for tat with unwavering rival Beatrice, Hero's sister. Don Pedro's brother Don John wants no part in the merry festivities and plots to ruin Hero's reputation, while the ladies plot to unite Beatrice and Benedick. Much Ado About Nothing is generally considered one of Shakespeare's best comedies, because it combines elements of robust hilarity with more serious meditations on honour, shame, and court politics.
