A writing workshop about journaling and keeping diaries taking inspiration form the Diary of Anne Frank. Read excerpts from Anne Frank's diary that will lead to questions about history and about our own lives. There will be an in-house assignment. Handouts will include a list of ideas to start your own journaling. Bring along a notebook and pen, and view the Guild Hall Museum exhibition, Michael Knigin: Anne Frank, before the workshop begins. Workshop led by Eileen Obser, who is the author of Only You, a memoir about her teenage years in Queens, New York, and has been teaching memoir, journaling and other creative writing courses for over 20 years.
