The Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Players present a one-of-a-kind performance exploring folk music and its rich intersections with classical and jazz. Join us for an improvisational take on folk-inspired music by the likes of Dvorak, Bartok, and Schubert. The ensemble also flips the script (score?), examining folk songs by American composers and songwriters through a classical and jazz lens. Hear these incredibly creative, versatile musicians perform music you know and love in ways you’ve never heard before as you enjoy the mouthwatering brunch offerings of City Winery Chicago.

Doors open at 11:00 A.M., and brunch will be available for purchase before and during the performance. Casual attire is encouraged. Approximate run time: 1 hour.
