The New Opera Workshop is pleased to invite you to celebrate our Fifth Anniversary with a double-bill program featuring Johan Sebastian Bach’s secular cantata “THE CONTEST BETWEEN PHOEBUS AND PAN” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s singspiel “THE IMPRESARIO.” We are preparing a fantastic musical offering with an extraordinary cast led by Christian Eggers, CC’20, Chris Stocklager, MSM’17, Anne Monique Pace, CC’17, and Madeleine Collier, BC’19, accompanied by a talented orchestral ensemble of Columbia University students, under the musical direction of Ricardo Bustamante, GS’17, stage direction by Bronwen Chan, CC’18, financial management of Maria Paley, BC’17, and general management of Julian Vleeschhouwer, CC’19. Join us on December 01 and 02 at 8:00 pm, and December 03 at 3:00 pm, at the Minor Latham Playhouse in Milbank Hall, Barnard College. Tickets, which can be purchased at the Ticket and Information Center in Lerner Hall, are free for CU/BC ID holders, $10 for general admission, and $20 for VIP seating.
