If you are an experienced writer who has had plays previously produced or developed in workshop readings, then this is the class for you! In a supportive, collaborative environment, we will help you to develop story ideas, works in progress, and those discarded plays you’ve been hoping to rewrite. We will read your own play selections in class and give you helpful feedback for structure, style, and story development in conjunction with your writing. In his role as Literary Manager at NJ Rep Co, Joel will provide you with insights and helpful hints about submitting your plays to theaters. It doesn’t matter if you are a prolific playwright churning out play after play or somebody suffering from writer’s block, we’ll help you identify problem areas and try to fix them.
