Tapestry is one of the oldest forms of woven textile art – dating back to 3000 BCE. In this class, over three-hours per week for six weeks, students will learn the basics of tapestry weaving: how to plan and design a tapestry project, where to source desired materials and how to finish their woven tapestry. This class is appropriate for beginning weavers.Table looms will be provided for use in the class (and will be available for purchase at the student’s option for $60). A materials list will be provided before class begins. 6 Classes $300.
