A Most Raucous Riff, Reveling in Shakespeare’s Renowned Reverie . . . Recommended for ages 10 and older!

From Lookingglass Theatre Company co-founder David Catlin and the collaborative team who gave Northwestern, Chicago, and the national theatre community THE LITTLE PRINCE and MOBY DICK comes a new and wholly original adaptation of the Bard’s most famous and beloved comedy, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM. Come venture with Færies, Lovers, Clowns, & Royals deep into the madness and nonsense of the primeval garden-wood in this hilarious and heartfelt 90-minute summer romp—a collision of music, circus, and Shakespeare—perfect for the whole family! A new and wholly original adaptation of the comedic romp that incorporates other Shakespearean plays as well as other hilarious sources and references. The new script is in development for a production that will open at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta in Fall 2018 directed by David Catlin.

Running time is 1 hour and 30 minutes with no intermission.
