This program runs Monday through Friday 1 - 4pm.
What defines contemporary theatre? What makes the plays and musicals being written and produced today unique and inspiring? With a view to theatre history and modern acting techniques, students in this class will catapult themselves into plays and playwrights emerging now, in the 21st century. Actors will perform contemporary scenes, monologues, and pieces as they sharpen their acting chops. This intensive culminates in a showcase on Friday afternoon.
