This class will introduce you to all aspects of screen acting. Instructor and professional actor, Erica Derrickson, will address both the art and business of acting in New England, giving actors a fresh set of tools and confidence to start or boost their career in the local film scene. Erica will offer a practical approach on how to get started as an actor in Boston, find auditions, build a working resume as well as a unique personal brand using social media and other marketing techniques. Actors will learn the basics of script breakdown for commercials, film and television, and tips on how to give a great audition! This class is ideal for anyone looking to explore the world of acting or for anyone looking to boost their career to the next level within the media industry.

Those students who take Erica's class are invited to attend a 'refresher' class in a future session with Erica!
