Sheyenne Theatre hosts a night of food, drink, and entertainment as a final major fundraiser for our “Sheyenne to Scotland” tour efforts. Presented at The Stage at Island Park, the evening will include a social hour from 6:00-7:00p, musical theatre revue at 7:00p, and a dessert reception following the performance. A silent auction featuring dozens of items donated from local businesses will be displayed throughout the building as well.

This August, Sheyenne Theatre will represent our community, state, and nation as part of the American High School Theatre Festival (AHSTF) where our students take part in the Edinburgh, Scotland Fringe Theatre Festival. Not only will students see eye-opening perspectives as they travel throughout the United Kingdom, they will also take their learning to the next level by presenting a series of performances of their 2017 state championship-winning play, REELING, to international audiences as part of the largest annual arts gathering in the world. Our Sheyenne Theatre artists will be the first to represent North Dakota in AHSTF’s 23 years of showcasing the United States’ best secondary theatre programs.

Proceeds from the evening will ease production expenses to transport or rent sets, costumes, props, and sound and lights trip. Twenty individuals have been working throughout this year to make this artistic ambassadorship possible.
