Learn ways to create a portrait of a friend, yourself or people from photographs and imagination. We will draw, paint and collage portraits, using photographs, our own faces and memories as models and inspirations. The class will cover the basics of head and face structures, proportions, form shaping, color and light. We will also explore the possibility of creating a self-portrait without representing a face, yet making it highly personal.
