This course is part of our Flat File series. In Flat File, students will explore all art forms that are 2 dimensional, or flat. From painting and drawing to printmaking, students will combine play, sill, and experimentation to create unique artistic expressions.

Tell your stories in color. In this class we will paint with acrylics and watercolors, draw with oil pastels and color pencils, and sometimes will mix a couple of mediums together. Learn how to create your unique palette by mixing your own colors in myriad combinations. Discover how to express your emotions, ideas, passions, and concerns with art and how to support your statements with the power of color! We will work with the themes of portraiture, nature, abstract and imaginary ideas.
