This course is part of our Flat File series. In Flat File, students will explore all art forms that are 2 dimensional, or flat. From painting and drawing to printmaking, students will combine play, sill, and experimentation to create unique artistic expressions.

Students will learn the science and application of color theory including types of color harmonies and disharmonies, special effects, and color wheel applications to painting. We will practice technique and approaches through varied short term exercise and more lengthy painting projects. This is a great opportunity for students interested in mastering the varied uses of color including painting, drawing, design, hand drawn, digital illustration, or interior design.
