This course is part of our Media in Focus series. In Media in Focus, students will dive deep into one or more art media. From clay to paint, students will build technical skills while enjoying the freedom to explore their artistic voices.
Animation in the palm of your hand! This course will cover 2-D and 3-D stop-motion animation using Stickdraw and Stop Motion recorder applications for Android and IOS smart phones. Materials vary from pencil to paint to clay-mation. Beginning with a 3 second GIF and ending with a short film, students will learn and tackle the various approaches to shooting, editing and assembling animations.
Students must supply their own smart phone device with available storage for app downloads.
