This is the perfect course for adults who have always wanted to master proficiency in naturalistic and realistic drawing. We will study a wide range of technical and conceptual skills including: the keys to drawing, elements of line and shape, shape consciousness, figure/foreground relationships, value and volume, proportions & perspective, principles of design and composition. Instruction will include varied demonstrations, modeling, class discussions, guided studio work, and independent practice.
