Multi-Grammy Award-Winning trumpeter and platinum songwriter/producer Keyon Harrold comes to the McKittrick for the first time to begin a series of concerts that bend genres into a sonic stew featuring collaborations with his friends--all representing the best in the music industry. Having been featured on nearly 100 albums ranging from jazz, R&B, pop, gospel, blues and hip hop, Keyon has toured and recorded with or produced for some of the world’s best artists and ensembles like Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Common, Erykah Badu, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Maxwell and Rhianna, just to name a few. Most recently, Keyon was featured as the sound of the trumpet composing and playing for Don Cheadle in the Miles Davis Biopic “Miles Ahead” for which he won a 2017 Grammy for Best Soundtrack. These shows will feature music from his upcoming album to be released in August 2017.
