Halloween Edition: Sex, Liquor, and Murder

Join the Seaport Museum's Historian for this special Halloween themed dark tour of 19th-century New York’s most notorious district of vice and depravity, the Fourth Ward. On this adults-only (18 and older) evening tour you will hear the stories of sordid murders, dangerous criminals, and infamous houses of ill repute as you take a walk through the Wickedest Ward. Especially for Halloween, you will also be taken inside Schermerhorn Row, which contains the remains of an old hotel where several guests met grisly ends.

Tour meets at South Street Seaport Museum, 12 Fulton Street. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. Guests must be able to climb the 47 steps up to the fourth floor of Schermerhorn Row.
