DARIA KISELEVA is the Grand Prize Winner of the first Impromptu! Drozdoff Audition. She will perform a RUSSIAN COMPOSERS concert featuring:

Daria Kiseleva debuted as a soloist with orchestra at age 10, performing Mozart Concerto No. 8. Winning First Prize of the prestigious IV BNDES International Piano Competition in 2014 brought her appearances with the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra de Experimental de Repertório, and a recital series in Sala Sao Paolo and Theatre Municipal of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall in New York; and Salle Cortot in Paris. In October 2015 she became Laureate of the Marguerite Long International Piano Competition, performing with Orchestra de Chambre de Paris at Theatre of Champs Élysées. Honors include First Prize of Rotary Club International Piano Competition in Mallorca (concert series in Spain, Germany and France), performances in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Salle Gauveau (Paris), 35 Londrina Festival and Festival VII Virtuosi Gravata (Brazil), Schlern Festival (Italy), Museum of Modern Art and Foundation Oscar Americano (Sao Paolo), and Aptos Keyboard Series (Monterey Bay, California).

Daria graduated from Moscow State Gnessin College in 2010, studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Andrei Diev, and since 2014 at the TCU School of Music with Dr. Ungar. Other achievements include the 2009 National Competition “Young talents,” Moscow, Laureate; 2011 M. Yudina International Competition, Saint Petersburg, Third Prize; 2012 Shabyt International Competition, Astana, Grand Prix; 2013 International Rubinstein Chamber Competition, Moscow, Second Prize; 2014 Jean Francaix International Piano Competition, Moscow, Second Prize. She performed in the 53th Weimar Piano Festival (2011), Oxford Philomusica Festival (2013), and PianoTexas 2014 and 2016.

In recognition of her endeavors in music, Daria was awarded with Sviatoslav Richter (2005) and Henrich Neuhauz (2010) Premias of Rostropovich Foundation. Daria is the Gold Medalist in Solo and Concerto Division of the 2016 International Keyboard Odyssiad® & Festival (IKOF).

On May 1, 2017, Daria Kiseleva became the first Grand Prize Laureate of the Impromptu! Drozdoff Audition, and is being featured in a 4 city recital tour in the 2017-2018 Impromptu! Classical Music Recital Series season.
