Our production based musical theatre camps give your young actor the whole acting experience in four weeks! We start with auditions for the show on the first day of camp and spend our weeks together rehearsing for the culminating production during the last week of camp.

Actors will work through the entire acting process via rehearsals for the production, including: line memorization, scene blocking, character creation, vocal strengthening, and choreography. We encourage the building of community and working together when we meet each morning and afternoon for an all camp (Youth, Middlers, and Teens) warm up and lunch.

Legally Blonde The Musical is based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name. It tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner. She discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others, and successfully defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial. Throughout the show, no one has faith in Elle Woods, but she manages to surprise them when she defies expectations while staying true to herself.

The Broadway Junior series are designed specifically to better suit the energies and abilities of younger performers. They are developed by educators and are generally a truncated version of the original show.

We also have before and after care for both Musical Theatre Camps. Before care is from 8:30-9:30 AM and after care is from 3:30-6 PM. The fee is $8 per hour. Please email Emma Ditnes at EDitnes@MacGuffinTF.com to schedule your child.
