This workshop is designed for individual artists who identify as people of color. All disciplines are welcome, especially those creating, performing and/or studying in the areas of theatre, dance, or contemporary/hybrid/multidisciplinary performance.
Boom Arts visiting artist Soomi Kim (www.soomikim.com) offers a 3-hour workshop on devising new performance as part of Theatre Diaspora's series of theatre workshops for Portland area artists of color. Work on your own material and collaborate with others in small groups. Workshop attendees must also attend a performance of Soomi Kim's "Chang(e)" at The Headwaters Theatre December 7, 8, 9, & 10 at 7:30pm.
