The face is such a complex form, but one of the most familiar forms we encounter. Participants in this program will explore drawing and painting portraits (of themselves and others), learning specific techniques to improve their portrayal of a subject--including choosing what details to emphasize and the impact of those choices. Artists will also have the chance to explore the face as metaphor from disguise to alter ego! This program culminates in an exhibit of the many facets of faces on Friday for family and friends. EXTENDED DAY is available for all ages!
8:00 am - 9:00 am, $15 per day | 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, $25 per day. No afternoon extended day on Fridays.
