The human body is such a complex form, but something that is familiar to all people. Participants in this program will learn specific techniques to improve their portrayal of a subject--including choosing what details to emphasize and the impact of those choices. Artists will also challenge their expectations of formal portraiture as they go beyond the frame in this contemporary painting workshop. Friends and family are encouraged to celebrate the artists’ accomplishments and view their work as part of our Friday showcase exhibit. Includes specialty materials fee. EXTENDED DAY is available for all ages!
8:00 am - 9:00 am, $15 per day | 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, $25 per day. No afternoon extended day on Fridays.
