The Miss America Organization is the nation's leading provider of scholarships for young women. The organization makes available millions of dollars in scholarship assistance annually. The Miss America program exists to provide a forum for young women to express their viewpoints, talents and accomplishments. Most contestants have either received or are in the process of earning college or postgraduate degrees.
