In 21st century Paris, six members of the African diaspora argue about their political and religious beliefs. Legacies of love, abuse and self-doubt are confronted as are antiquated notions of property law that continue to shape long-stemming issues found in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and North America. Our characters examine their positions and priorities upon learning that their seemingly perfect friend Shelly commits suicide.
