Bodies HEaRd: Moving Forward Together A community movement workshop led by Lora Wilson Mau DMT As we lift our voices to speak our truth, sometimes words are not enough. In this two hour workshop we will invite the language of the body into the evolving conversation about gender equality, empowerment, and the freedom to be that flourishes in an environment that is safe and respectful. Weaving together simple, guided movement improvisation with facilitated discussion, this workshop offers participants the opportunity to discover new layers of the truth they need to speak, to witness with non-judgement the truths of others, and the opportunity to discover in community how to move this new awareness forward into action. No dance experience required. All bodies welcome. PD Credit available.
