It's time for the 2018 Trashion ReFashion Runway Show
presented by Plato's Closet.
This vibrant, all-ages event is a two-part runway show featuring designs made from refashioned or unwanted materials including (but not limited to!) paper and plastic bags, pop tabs, bicycle tires, tablecloths, old clothes, pet food containers, and even wedding gowns! This year, Fiddle 'n' Feet & the Foot Squad will be featured with a performance of percussive dance. And Trashion Off returns this year! Two teams will compete to see who does the better job of transforming a heap of trash into fashion. The audience chooses the winning team. The Bloomington Trashion Steering Committee is proud to involve our community of creative designers, performers, businesses, students, and professors year after year.
Proceeds go to benefit the Center for Sustainable Living (CSL) and Discardia, a CSL project whose mission is to help people reuse, recycle, and repurpose clothing and other textiles.

Doors for this general admission event will open at 6:30pm. The event is expected to last roughly two and a half hours. Donations for CSL will be accepted after the event.
