A workshop that uses improv techniques to strengthen your on-camera acting AND visits how we market ourselves as actors, goal setting, and character typing.

This one-day workshop will focus on taking the philosophies and techniques of improv and use those to help enrich your on-camera acting for TV/Film. We will be specifically focusing on audition tips, script/character breakdown, and on camera technique. We will be reading current TV/Film scripts on camera and watching back these reads/auditions together on the monitor and critiquing.

Additionally, there’s a business and goal setting element to this workshop where we will be examining each individual marketing materials and set goals to insure everything is up to industry standards. We are visiting both the artistic and business side of the acting world in this group. We will learn how to market YOU in this industry. My goal is that students will leave here with an action plan.

Aaron Krebs, co-founder of AK Studios and the Westside Comedy Theater, has over 20 years teaching/performing improv and acting with Mission IMPROVable, The Westside Comedy Theater, Second City, iO West, Comedy Sportz, and has booked roles on Superstore, Insecure, Modern Family, Jane the Virgin, Scorpion, Grey's Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, Just Add Magic, Hollywood Darlings, The Thundermans, Stuck in the Middle and many more. In addition to acting, Aaron has also worked as an agent, writer/producer, and in casting in Hollywood over the last 17 years.
