Type B is an original play written by Andy Jo (BC '18) that first and foremost explores the nuances of friendships between women. The characters navigate the anxieties of living in a post-college world, maintaining platonic and romantic relationships, and reconciling the cultural barriers that accompany diaspora. Soo and Grace must figure out how to work on their relationship in the midst of Grace's skeptical friends and the pressures of American city life. Type B is a devised and non-linear story that explores the roles of love and duty in relationships within a modern world.
