This class is part of WCT's Page to Stage program, where students learn to collaborate, explore their creative ideas, and find their voices while utilizing various classic texts and childhood favorites. Additionally, students will build basic performance skills.

Bring to life the many beloved stories of William Steig, author of children’s classics including Shrek!, Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, and more! In this upbeat and exciting theatre program, participants may transform into Steig’s whimsical characters, act out his hilarious stories, and journey to his wonderful lands. Through creative drama and storytelling, participants will learn the basics of performance using their bodies, voices, and imaginations.

Registration for this class includes two tickets for WCT’s MainStage Musical production of Shrek The Musical on Saturday 6/16 at 2 PM.
