A Doll's House
Staged Reading
Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 8:00PM

Boyd-Quinson Mainstage

Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House scandalized audiences when it debuted in 1879 by questioning the roles of men and women in marriage, when protagonist Nora walked out on her husband and three children. This play led playwright Lucas Hnath 138 years later to imagine what happened when Nora returned home to her family in Doll's House, Part 2. (Although seeing Ibsen's Doll's House is not needed to enjoy Hnath Doll's House Part 2, we wanted to share the original play with those members of our audience who are inquisitive about the original).
