You've Got a Friend: The Music of the Brill Building
Starring Festival Artistic Director Scott Coulter
Friday, June 15, 2018 at 7:30PM

The Cooperage Project
1030 Main Street
Honesdale, PA 18431

Presented in cooperation with The Zipper Junction Project

In the middle of New York City, in the heart of Times Square, sits The Brill Building, home to songwriters Carole King, Neil Sedaka, Lieber & Stoller, Neil Diamond, and Barry Mann and Cynthia Weill among others. The songs they wrote changed the sound of popular music and became some of the most iconic songs of all time. "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do," "Where the Boys Are," and "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" all came from the famed music factory. Multi-award winning vocalist Scott Coulter takes you on a journey into the music -and the stories-of the singers and the songs that defined a generation.
