Winters in Evanston Illinois are brutal and it’s becoming more and more costly to keep the roads safe. Salt truck drivers Peter and Basil battle storm after storm as Maiworm, the Assistant Director of Public Works weighs the option of groundbreaking di-icing technology. She is faced with a decision that challenges her allegiance to her role model, Jane Jacobs, an urban planning pioneer for whom she named her daughter after and impact the lives and livelihood of her staff that are beyond just employees. Evanston Salt Costs Climbing is a heartbreakingly funny story about relationships, climate and change. Directed by Dustin Wills
