In this introductory class, participants start by learning how to use broad-edged tools, including both markers and dip pens. Then they explore the strokes that form Italic letters. Once comfortable with writing the letters in both lower and uppercase, students explore some of the many ways they can use this alphabet! Projects include greeting cards and decorative calligraphic art. Materials list will be posted online prior to the start of class.
