This class is part of our Workshops and Intensives program. Workshops and intensives are short-term, specialized classes led by local and visiting artists that help participants sharpen their skills, simply have some fun, or try something new!

Participants learn the basic machine sewing techniques to make a skirt or drawstring bag in just 3 hours! Techniques include threading the machine, forward and reverse straight stitching, straight seams, making an elastic casing and narrow hemming. Class is intended for students with no machine sewing experience. Sewing machine encouraged, but not required.
