They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In this 2-day, inter-generational workshop students create beautiful prints on paper, both on the press and by hand, to take home and cherish for days to come. Explore a family member by choosing how to depict them in a portrait. In addition to creating portraits, participants play with color-mixing, drawing and shape-making while learning two very fun and versatile printmaking techniques: monotype and collograph. This course is suitable for parents, grandparents or other relatives and their children, grandchildren or nieces/nephews, etc. of all levels of artistic ability.
