This class is part of our Write From the Heart program. Motivated by topics that are close to their hearts, participants will experience the exciting growth of narrative from concept to execution as they put their ideas on paper and then see them brought to life in images or on stage.

Animation in the palm of the hand! This course covers 2D and 3D stop-motion animation using recorder applications for Android and IOS smartphones. Materials range from pencil to paint but focus primarily on stop motion animation with clay. Beginning with a 3 second GIF and ending with a short film, students learn and tackle the various approaches to shooting, editing and assembling animations. Students must supply a smartphone device with available storage for app downloads.
