This class is part of our Makerspace Series. Clay, sewing, jewelry-making, and prop creation are just a few of the exciting areas that participants may explore! Makerspace participants work directly with teaching artists to develop and hone their skill as they design and craft objects with their own hands.

Learn the basics of hand sewing using needles, thread, scissors, and fabric! Participants make their own pillow, soft sculpture, and even learn to sew on buttons. Later in the class, students learn to create a pattern from an original drawing. Great for beginners and experienced sewers alike! Participants can repeat this course to continue building skill and scope through continuously changing projects!
