This class is part of our Write From the Heart program. Motivated by topics that are close to their hearts, participants will experience the exciting growth of narrative from concept to execution as they put their ideas on paper and then see them brought to life in images or on stage.

This fast-paced and advanced intensive will challenge teen actors, artists, playwrights, and innovators to create a one-of-a-kind work of theatre based on original artwork -- a true art and theatre collaboration, all in the space of a day! Participants will spend the morning creating a piece of artwork using abstract painting techniques. Then, participants will trade pieces of art and delve into the writing process as they create short plays based on each others’ work. Think fast, push your creativity, and create something totally new! All of the art will debut in the evening at the end of the intensive. Food will be provided or participants are welcome to bring their own (nut-free) food to share.
