This class will deal with guitar chord choices, voicing and rhythms with an emphasis placed on accompanying Irish tunes and songs. The class will look into some standard tuning shapes and methods but will have an overall focus on Drop D tuning as it is more common in Irish music settings. Students interested in accompanying jigs and reels or songs will all be catered for in this class. Both beginner and intermediate levels welcome.

Please note that this is not at Irish Arts Center. This class requires an instrument.
